Good Morning Everyone, it's gonna be a fall day here, raining and cool. I made apple pie and applesauce this weekend....it's all gone and it's only Wednesday. Back to the store soon for more apples. I love homemade applesauce and just never do it, hate to peel apples. Jim has offered to peel as many as I need, especially since I got an apple corer for him to play with.

Have to get the roast in the crock pot before work this morning, the house will smell wonderful when I get home. I love roasts in the crock pot, easy, filling, delicious and there's always leftovers.

I got an email from a friend the other day (some of you reading this got it from me), remember when we were young and those chain letters would go around, well this one is the email version and it's for recipes. Copy and paste to a new email, send to 20 people but change the #2 person to #1 and put yourself as #2 and send a recipe to the one who was #1. I've gotten 2 recipes back so far and they sound delicious. Can't wait for more.

Sat down after work for the last 2 days and found my desk again. It had become the catchall....I hate a dirty desk. Mine at work is neat and tidy--here at home, well...as I said it becomes a catchall. I filed, shredded, paid, sorted, etc. It looks great and I can set my coffee cup down and not worry about what it is on top of.

The house is very quiet with no company....I miss them all. It is nice to have our home back to ourselves, but I do miss everyone. HELLO JODY and MEGHAN.

The economy....not sure what's happening here except my retirement is almost GONE. Just vanished. We have a 403B plan, which is similar to a 401K (I think). Anyways, I contribute and the hospital contributes and since they started this about 10 years ago, I have occasionally lost a little money depending on the stock market. Well, now it's disappearing FAST. Made me wonder, first of all, am I ever gonna be able to retire? And what about the people that will retire or should retire soon? What are they going to do?

On that note, have to get ready for work. ENJOY the day.
