Jim and I have our home back...no visitors,just us for dinner.....It was great to see Jody and Meghan and meet Meghan's boyfriend but it's also nice to have our home back. It was different to have the dining room table full again, even had to put the leaf in and have my mother in law bring extra chairs.
We did a new lasagna recipe with spinach and prosciutto ham in it, that was good, slightly salty though. Had steaks and baked potatoes with all the toppings one night, burgers (cause Jody makes hockey pucks out of them when she makes them). I loved cooking for everyone.

We miss the baby most of all, no one asking for "more", "juice please", etc. No one screeching while chasing the cats.

Now it's time to settle into the fall routine, washing windows, washing curtains, cleaning the cobwebs outs, getting ready for winter. YUK. It's unusually warm--already almost 70 degrees out, muggy too.

Have to catch up on emails, and all those things I've neglected for 2 weeks.
