Good News tonight.....we had a local young man come home from Iraq. He volunteered to go last September, so some other soldier with a family could stay in the states. One of the TV stations was there to greet him, I cried, of course, as only a military mom who has been in those shoes could. They interviewed his mom while waiting for the plane, she said the toughest part was "not knowing" and it is...you can't pick up the phone and call, you have to wait for them to call you or email or write to you. WELCOME HOME CHAD. Get some sleep tonight Sherry and Chet !!!!!

Dinner the other night was a recipe I haven't made in years...chicken pizzeria. I took leftovers to to work today and everyone wanted to taste it....It's so easy and tastes good. The Ooey Gooey Double Chocolate cake was delicious and it only lasted 3days here.

Only 2 more days of work and I'm on vacation for a week, can't wait. It's been a week from.......People are nasty and I'm not sure why. They want all their tests yesterday and think I'm a mind reader when it comes to what they have ordered. Need a break.

Last night Jim and I went to the park for the final summer concert, Bobby Dick and the Sundowners were playing and we've been fans for more years that we care to count. It was fun listening to the oldies....What a nice night too, not too hot, actually a little cool being on the riverbank.

Happy Hump Day everyone.....

Welcome Home Chad.

God bless you for your service and your compassion that someone else could stay here with his family.

Karen - I am gaining weight from reading your blog. :)

Love and hugs,
Sue
