October is BREAST CANCER AWARENESS Month. Have you had your mammogram done this year? If you haven't, PLEASE make that appointment, SOON !!!!

Did you notice? I have a new link to the right of this post. Avon has teamed up with Dr Susan Love to promote Breast Cancer Research. I saw it on the news tonight and checked it out. As many of you know I had my own scare earlier this year and my best friend died of it just over 2 years ago and another friend is currently fighting it. We have many hundreds of cases in the area where I live -- I have often wondered is it due to the PCB's that General Electric dumped all over the area for years, is it because of the paper mills that are here, why do so many people in this area have cancer of some type. It touches almost every family in the area here. Anyways, I digress, I added the link as they are looking for women to research, some with breast cancer, some with family history, some with no known history or reason to get it. They want a million women, last count they were at 30,000 signed up. I signed up.
