Saturday we washed windows, curtains, screens and grocery shopped. A lot accomplished. Jim did most it, I shopped. Sunday was my day--baking. Rachel Rays' magazine had a recipe for Apple Pecan Sticky Buns, boy do they smell great. Also made an apple pie. Have to do peanut butter cookies with the Hershey Kisses in them today. I took today off so also want to pack away the summer clothes. I bought those vacuum seal bags for clothes, figure if they work, it'll be great--no more tubs of clothes that I have to figure out what to do with them. We have enough plastic tubs around here full of all kinds of things and can't find room for more. The object is to cut down on things, not increase. Also have to do some more shelves in the kitchen.
NASCAR is getting exciting--my driver is 2nd right now in the Chase. If you follow the sport you know what I mean. I hope he wins it this year. Well the race was EXCITING, my driver caused the last BIG crash and took himself and quite a few others with him, including 2 team mates.
Talked to the kids the other night, Shannon wouldn't talk to me on the phone, she did talk to Papa--wanted to play "horsey" with him. Kristine is now a stay at home mom for awhile. Rob is making enough money with his overtime that she can stay home because with his hours, for her to work she would spend it all paying a sitter and that isn't worth it. I miss them.
