The Adirondack Balloon Festival is this weekend here. For as many years as they come we don't usually go up and watch them and normally they head for Washington County but this year the winds have blown them our way. Thursday we saw a couple but last night they were landing here in the village. 2 of them a couple blocks away. Jim got his camera out and as soon as he uploads the pics I'll add a couple of them. I love watching the hot air balloons.

We have one more camping trip planned....Teri from across the street called the other day, their Columbus Day weekend plans fell through so she asked if we wanted to go someplace. We now have reservations for a few exits up the highway. I can't wait. Last one for the season, since it was frosty here last night. Still have to finish cleaning the camper from Maine. Jim has the wash done so have to get them out there, I started cleaning the cupboards out and sorting through everything out there. Some things need to be moved to make them more accessible. Now is the time to do it since I have the time.

Physical Therapy is going ok. Aaron had told me before I left for Maine that he wanted me to be able to bend the knee to 100 degrees on my own when I got back...I made 99. Jesse ( my other therapist) got it to 107 on Thursday but it hurts. It's getting tough now cause the swelling holds me back a little but it's coming along. I can walk up stairs step over step (like a normal person) but still can't go down them that way, not enough bend yet.

Gail and Pat come back tonight from a week in Jamaica--they are going to freeze. We got an email from Pat last night, said it was 80-90's there all week. Been 50-60's here and 30's-40's at night!! They had a great time though. I can't wait to see pics and here more details.

I was at work yesterday--actually drove myself--first time. Had to pick up prescriptions and go to the library for reading material. Saw the boss and a few others. It was nice but I don't miss it. Lottery here I come--need to win so I can go per diem and not have to go back full time. Oh wells, I have the dream and maybe the dollar, just not the luck!!

Have a great weekend everyone.

Enjoyed your post. When my husband had knee surgery it took him longer than he expected to get around like he thought he would. It just takes a while.

Glad you get to go camping again. Nothing like camping to destress and just enjoy life. We'll be camping until February. We will have to winterize it between trips but my husband and son use the travel trailer during deer/duck hunting season.

Take care. I can't wait to see the pics.
