What a great weekend we had. Camping with friends and neighbors. It was CHILLY up north but with the campfire going around the clock we survived. The guys were thinking they are all younger than they really are and are paying for it today. They played touch football with the kids, volleyball, we rented peddle cars (looked like go carts only you peddle them) and they had races and there a couple small hills that worked them leg muscles. Cheyenne has a great camera and was taking pictures all over the place--then we had a photo shoot yesterday, they stacked the kids all in a pyramid and did a few shots then did the adults. Saturday night it got down to about 24 degrees!!! Was cold and windy during the days--the sun was nice when it was out, last night was clear, cold, and still so all our water hoses froze--out there this morning thawing them with my blow dryer. Had to have water to make coffee!!. There was an old guy across they way who was a know it all--came over every morning to tell us what we were doing wrong and this morning was no exception--we should have left faucets dripping, but after the night before being so cold and nothing freezing we never gave it a thought last night. What I really think was he wanted to invited over to eat. We did waffles, or french toast bacon and sausage, had homemade blueberry sauce with whipped cream, syrup and even some raspberry sauce, eggs, coffee....Gail made vegetable beef soup that was lunch on Saturday and it was gone and boy was it good. Jim did the chili for Saturday night and that was gone. We had ribs last night. There was also baked beans, a corn, cornbread casserole, cornbread muffins, mac and cheese, no bake cookies, chocolate cake, and I can't remember what else. But we did eat well and if anyone was hungry it was there own fault. We always eat well and have lots of it. Hated packing up today knowing it was the last trip of the year. Jim has already done a countdown timer for Memorial Day weekend--the first trip for next year--266 days to go.
Therapy is going well--can bend to 105 on my own and they can force it to 115. My other knee is at 118 so almost there. I see the doctor tomorrow and we'll see what he says. I'll be back to work sooner than expected.

Karen,
It sounds like you had a wonderful time! When my parents were alive and when they were healthy, they used to bring their fifth wheel up from FL and my sisters, their families, and Ron and I and the kids would all go camping in PA. It was so great - the food, the games, the fun. My sisters and brothers in law, and Ron and I would stay up half the night playing Trivial Pursuit - it was freezing but nobody wanted to give in. Boy did those sleeping bags feel nice when we finally quit.
So glad that your knee is doing so well. Take good care and don't overdo it, ok?
Hugs,
Sue
