Well the basement is clean one more time. We threw a lot away--not as much as Jim would have liked but still the barrel outside is full and more to go in after the garbage man gets here on Tuesday. All the stuff for yard sales is gone, all the VHS tapes, still hanging onto albums (vinyl) though and 2 boxes of books from when Rob was a kid--have to get a new book shelf for the bedroom Shannon uses. What's left is Christmas--lots of it and a huge tote of stuff from my parents house--mom's cedar chest contents and old photo albums that I salvaged after the fire, Jim's work bench stuff and a pile of computer parts and stuff that we have to wait till they have one of those recycling days somewheres near here to get rid of that stuff. Had wood to burn so took that across the street for fires in the spring, left over plastic ware from parties so that went to for the camping trips, old coats to the donation bins.

We then took showers and left with the neighbors to go look at new campers, there was a small show at the mall. Patrick and Teri need a bigger one--not longer just a slide would help with the kids, Gail and Pat are thinking about one and we just like to look. Found what we would like but it has to wait, haven't paid enough on ours yet to make a trade worth our time. We will spend the winter looking with them and dreaming. Unless I win the lottery we won't get a new one for a while and that's ok--ours is fine, just a few things I would change and they are livable things.
After looking we all went to Golden Corral for dinner--they were packed. All you can eat shrimp buffet...it was good, we hadn't been there in a couple years.

By the time we got home both Jim and I had sore legs from the stairs yesterday and then climbing in and out of campers. Today I have to find my desk top and he's working on his work bench area some more.

Have a great Sunday everyone.

Karen,

You and Rob are exactly where Gary and I are. We would love to trade for a different camper but we only bought ours a year ago. But, we look every chance we get...even on the Internet.

Gary wants a 5th wheel but I am staying firm with still needing two bedrooms. That's what we have now. We really need a bigger living area for when we have the grandkids.

Your Sunday sounded wonderful, even if it did include cleaning the basement.

I wish I could get my kids to get their stuff out of the attic. I've been taking them a box or two every once in a while but I still have too much of their stuff.

Enjoyed reading your blog!
