Thought I'd share a couple of new pictures of my pride and joy. Kristine had these done--there are over 100 shots of her so I picked out 4 of them. I miss her and she's growing up so fast.
I had my pre op clearance with my primary care on Wednesday and then today had my pre op appointment at the hospital, next Tuesday I meet with the PA at the surgeons office one last time before surgery. I'm getting anxious, it's the weather--rainy and cool, bothering my arthritis.
I had today off--long weekend. Went to the library and played on the computer here and didn't do much else. Jim and goofed off most of the day. I could have cleaned--cat hair needs vacuuming but it'll be there tomorrow. Oh we did fill the propane tank for the gas grill since it was empty and I couldn't cook out.
I have a friend who is career Army, and he's recently stationed at a new base. His dad and my ex were stationed in Alaska at the same time--our kids were all small. I've remained friends with his mom (dad died a few years ago from Viet Nam complications), anyways as luck would have it I have other friends who recently got to the same base. I sent a few emails and they are going to get together. That's one thing the military is good for--friends all over the United States. I'm so happy that they are willing to meet to each other, I think it will help the younger couple out alot.
