Can't believe I have been this long without posting. It was a busy week with staying over most every night since we are a little shorthanded right now. I also have become a fanatic with Bejeweled on facebook. It's addicting. Trying to catch Military Mom's up also before I go in for surgery.
We spent a nice evening by the fire across the street last night. They even brought us dinner and dessert. Gail is such a great cook. She brought us linguine with chicken and sausage in sauce and chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting--Jim's favorite.
Jim is out washing cars right now, doing the windows and vacuuming out the insides. YIPPEE, my car will be clean again, at least till Shannon comes again. It's her gold fish crumbs all over the back seat from the last time she was here.
What a beautiful weekend, finally. Warm and sunny. We've had so much rain thought we were turning into fish.
I had a sad moment this week, answered a call from an elderly woman who needed to cancel her appointment at the hospital, she had to do downstate--her grandson's body was being flown back from Iraq. Well after I offered my sympathies and cancelled her appointment and spoke with her a few minutes, I was almost in tears and she was very thankful that I took the time to listen to her. I told her my son is a veteran of this war and I was so sorry she lost her grandson. She hung up and I took a couple minutes to say a prayer and compose myself for the next call. Just never know whose is calling and what they are going to say, but I'm glad that was my call and not someone else's. Just never know whose life you will touch or who will touch yours.

I'm off tomorrow and then again Friday--was supposed to be off all week but we are short staffed and I can save the vacation time to supplement my check while I'm on disability in a couple weeks.
Have a great week everyone.
