Yesterday we lost a friend...."Spoon" was a great man, friend to everyone who met him. He will be missed.
Race day was cancelled yesterday due to rain, I got home today in time to see the last 20 laps or so. What a race. Carl didn't do so well but Congratulations to Denny who won the race and my sympathies to him on the loss of his grandmother.
A week from today I will be a patient, having my knee replaced, I can hardly wait--it's been bothering me alot lately. I will miss you all and will post when I get home again. No Internet at the hospital and don't know about rehab yet.
Not much else happening here, trying to get things together before I'm out of commission. Make sure bills are paid, bake for Jim, etc.

I am sorry for the loss of your friend. It sounds like his life was lived as God wanted - He so wants us to share friendship with one another. It's one of the greatest ways we can show His love.
We will all miss you my friend when you have your surgery...but we will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Check in when you can.
