I worked part of a day on Friday and then met the girls who were off for lunch after they got their early morning shopping done. We had pizza and beer and spent some good time together. On Saturday I grocery shopped and then Jim and I put the tree up. Some of you know me well enough to know I can decorate about 3 trees with the ornaments I have. This year I did all Thomas Kincaid ornaments and just a few of the special glass ones. The crystal icicles are on and the red,white, and blue glass candy canes. I didn't put out much for other decorations because Shannon will be here and I hate to keep telling her NO don't touch. After dinner, I finally pulled the rest of the turkey apart, kept some for sandwiches and made soup with the rest. Today was wrapping day, have a few more to do but need boxes. One of Jim's trips to the basement he can bring them up. Still have to bake--coffee cake for his breakfast this week and not sure what else. I bought Christmas cards finally--usually they are all ready to go by Thanksgiving but didn't find any I liked till yesterday and those are OK.....they are already for the mail now. I always say I'm gonna cut down my list but how do you do that? There are 40 of them going out tomorrow. The ones for work I will hand deliver and those aren't done yet.
