I went back to work on Monday, I'm a little sore at the end of the day mostly cause of swelling in the knee but doing OK. It's nice to be back even though there are still things I need to do at home.
Jim left early this morning for Conn. with his mom. His mother's aunt died Monday night--she was a couple weeks shy of her 82nd birthday. The funeral is today. We went on the web and there was a picture of her on the funeral homes site, I was amazed at how much like his grandmother this woman looked. They were sisters and almost could have been twins, except Maizie was the "baby" and grams was in the middle of 7 children. I've never met Maizie and just going back to work couldn't get the time off anyways cause she wasn't a close relative in the chain, but Betty wanted to go and she can't drive that far anymore so Jim is taking her since he is off today.
Gotta warm the car up--it's 1 above zero here this morning and wind chills will keep the temps there all day but a "heatwave" is expected this weekend--40's!!!!!! For us that's warm right now.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of Jim's aunt. But I am glad that Jim is able to take his mom to the funeral. I am sure she appreciates that.

My sympathies to you and Jim. The time Jim and his mom spend together, even though it is to a funeral, will be good for both of them.

Hope Jim and his mom made it to CN and back safely, and am sorry for their loss. I know his mom must have been thankful that Jim could take her.
Sounds like you are doing well with your knee - it seems that when your leg or foot hurts, your whole body aches.
