All is right with the world.....NASCAR is back!!! I know most of you are sports fans of one kind or another--we only follow NASCAR. The longest season of any sport and boy those 3 months that the cars aren't running seem to take forever, I think it has to do with the fact it's winter and nothing else to do. The picture is my driver, Carl Edwards, the 99 car (coincidence the year we married). He drives for Rousch Fenway Racing. The Budweiser Shootout is this weekend then Thursday is the Gatorade Duels and then the truck series on Friday, the Nationwide series on Saturday and the Daytona 500 next Sunday. Now there's something else to watch on TV on the weekends besides the Food Network.

We too are Nascar fans. So glad the season has started back up. We have gone to a race every year since we have been together. This year will be different however. This year we are taking a family trip to Florida for spring break. With the economy what it is, it just isn't feasible to do both. But thats ok. We will just watch them all on tv.
Denny Hamlin is my guy, Ryan likes tony Stewart ( he only lives about 20 minutes from us when he is home) and Dean likes Kyle Busch and Dale JR.
