Well it was wonderful day here---50 degrees--a heatwave for February in northern NY. Jim opened a window and the cat went nuts--Maggie was there as he popped the lock and was in it almost before he had it opened. Me, I was stuck indoors at work, though I did enjoy walking out of work without my winter coat on.
Rob called the other day and I missed his call, but Shannon left us a message. "Hi NanaPapa, I love you" Just melted my heart. I called back and talked to him the next day he says she keeps asking for us. We miss her and them so much. I can't wait till my next vacation at the end of March, I'm hoping we can steal her for a few days.
Not much else going on, reading the new Patricia Cornwell book - Scarpetta. It's not bad but I like her other ones better. Have a new author we are reading too--Karin Slaughter, she's pretty good too.
Winter is back tomorrow--cold and windy.
Friday is almost here--can't wait

We too have been enjoying the warmer than usual weather until yesterday. Yesterday the wind came and literally blew the warm temperatures away. We had wind gusts of up to 60 mph until about 1 am. Yesterday is was about 62 outside and today the high was 46. Tomorrow is 35.
Karen,
Oh those little voices on the phone do indeed melt our hearts. I hope you can spend some time with her in March. Our weather is very bad - today it was 70 mph wind gusts, snow, rain and sleet. I just made an executive decision: it's time for bed and my warm comforter. Hope Lily and Ron let me in bed. :)
Hugs to you and Jim.
Sue
