Random thoughts

Today Jim and I have been married for 9 years, not very long at all in the grand scheme of things. We have been together off and on for over 30 years though. He's making dinner for me since I had to work today and he didn't.

Talked to the kids last night, they both have new jobs and are in their own apartment finally. Rob is working at a produce warehouse, nights, but that's ok--he gets to bring home produce, which will help with the grocery bill plus he's making more money. Kristine just changed shops. They have been busy painting and laying a new floor in the kitchen. I miss them.

Money--wow, goes fast, groceries on the rise, gas is out of this world, and my paycheck just doesn't stretch enough anymore. Does anyone's? I want to retire in 5 years but I may not be able to if the cost keeps going up.

Vacation--don't think that is going to happen this summer, stay home and paint and catch up on things here. Can't afford the gas and camping fees.

Mammograms--hate them BUT with one friend dead and another going through breast cancer, I had mine done, had to go back today for more films, there is a lymph node but we'll watch it...doesn't appear to be abnormal. GET YOURS DONE SOON PLEASE.
As always my prayers are with our military.

Happy Anniversary friends! Wow - 9years - you're right that it may not seem like a lot but look at all that has happened in those 9 years.
I'm so glad to hear that Rob and Kristine and Shannon are doing well. God has blessed your family -it's not easy to get by these days that's for sure, but the kids have their new place. Prayers that all goe well for them - and for Nana and Grandpa too.
hugs,
Sue
