It's all over but the waiting.....my chest is still a little sore and bruised but I'm here and just waiting. They said the surgeon would have the results on Monday or Tuesday. It wasn't a bad procedure--lots of numbing lidocaine was used, but after that wore off I was and still am bruised and tender.
I want to THANK all my friends for their prayers and support. It means a lot to me and helped me get through yesterday and the next couple of days while I await my fate.
I'm on vacation soon but not sure what to do, I was going to go out and get Shannon (if they'll let me steal here) but now am not sure I should even broach the subject with them or wait till I hear from the surgeon on what we do next. I hate to get their hopes up of having free day care for a few days and time to themselves and then have to tell them NO. I haven't even told them about the biopsy yet, wanted to have results first.
I'll pray on it some more.....

Well, just to let you know that you aren't waiting and praying on these things by yourself. You are like me - I don't like to worry the kids with anything, but sooner or later it catches up with me and then the kids are upset with me cause I didn't tell them. As Laurie always says, "I'm a big girl now, Mom."

Praying that those results come in on Monday rather than on Tuesday. Waiting for results like that is absolutely horrible.
My mom does the same thing with me , not telling me till after the fact. Drives me crazy, I would rather know and be able to be there for her.
