NASCAR SUNDAY

The last race of the season, suppose I need to look at it that we have the longest season of any sport but the next 2 1/2 months are gonna be boring...no weekend races.  Should be a great race today with the Race for the Chase being so close in points.  As any NASCAR fan will tell you we all have our favorite drivers and those we despise for a variety of reasons.  I despise Jimmie Johnson, yes he can drive but I really don't want him winning the Chase for a 5th year in a row.  My driver doesn't have a chance--too far back in the points but I'd root for the 2 guys who do have a chance and they aren't my driver or part of my drivers team.

The Holiday parade is today also.  At least it isn't snowing or raining.  COLD but we are used to that.  I keep the hot chocolate going because the parade is about 3 hours long.  Lots of high school bands, all the schools in the district have a float, the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, the VFW, the American Legion, the ballet school, Tai Kwan Do, the bagpipe corp, a drum and bugle corp, etc.  It's a lot of fun.  Today I'll split my time between outside and inside with the race.

Enjoy your weekend and Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
