We spent Memorial Day weekend camping with friends. What a great time we had. Put out my flag by our name sign. Hung my yellow ribbon off the camper. Had to go into town on Saturday to the store and the local VFW was collecting for the troops, I gave as I drove by them and they rewarded me with a small flag. We were camping with veterans--almost all of our guys spent at least a few years in the military, 2 Navy, 2 Army, 1 Air Force. Sammy was very tired when we got home yesterday, came in the house and flopped on his bed and slept for the rest of the day.
Sammy has been going to puppy school for the last 6 weeks. He's very smart and does well even though he'd rather play with his sister who is also going. We have to keep them separated.
I called Rob on Sunday to talk to him and Shannon, she only wanted to talk to Papa--had to ask him about camping....she's so cute. "Nana I need to talk to papa" She's getting excited and I can't wait to spend time with her. We haven't seen her since January and I'm going through withdrawal.
