MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL MY BLOG READERS
Anxiously waiting for Rob, Kristine and Shannon to arrive. We are so excited, haven't had Shannon here on Christmas morning since she was an infant. I miss having a little one in the house waiting for Santa to arrive. The look of wonder on their faces in the morning.....
I'm as ready as I'm gonna be.. dinner is waiting to go in the oven. The finger foods for tomorrow are ready except for the ones I have to bake tomorrow--pigs in a blanket, sausage herb, cream cheese crescent rolls. Cookies and candies are out on platters. Table is almost set.
For all my military families, I hope you are together and if not know my prayers are with you that next year you will be. I wish you a phone call and maybe a surprise visit.....Santa produces miracles you know....last night on the news they had a story about a little girl who asked Santa to bring daddy home for Christmas, that was all she asked for--he arrived at the mall as she was sitting on Santa's lap....oh how the tears flowed.....what better gift.
Jim and I wish you all a safe and Merry Christmas.

Dear, Dear Karen,
You never cease to amaze me with the good things you accomplish - at holiday times and others as well. I don't know how you do it but you sure do make life a blessing for so many. Not all your friends get to share the good food, but the friendship you share feeds us just as well.
I'm so glad the kids were there for Christmas.
God bless you and Jim in the New Year.
Hugs and love,
Sue
