Shannon "loving" the kitty--RC is old and usually spends his days upstairs away from here but he was sleeping in the barca lounger with Maggie while we had been gone. Shannon came in and surprised them, Maggie got away and poor RC didn't. She was squeezing him, we got her to loosen her grip and then he ran away but not before I got a couple pictures. The other one she in on the cat tower that becomes her play toy when she is here with the blankie my friend Mary made for her.
Jim's birthday was yesterday and we baked a cake with chocolate frosting and Shannon added sprinkles to it--there was a huge glob of them in the center....We had to buy ice cream too, she picked chocolate and vanilla mixed. I made veal marsala for dinner with angel hair pasta. The kid loves it. I only put a couple small pieces on her plate with the pasta and when she was done she went to papa and helped him finish his. Who would have thought a 2 1/2 year old would eat veal marsala.... She helped him make cole slaw on Sunday and eats that too...
Today it's shaping up to be a warm and partially sunny day, think we will try the playground later. Maybe I can tire her out for Papa. When he got home last night she was ready for him....they jumped and played hard for a couple hours. He was exhausted by the time she went to bed. He needed to go to work to rest up!
We love every minute of it though...no matter how tired she makes us. We did go out and ride our bike a little yesterday between the rain drops. Gotta go, cartoon are over.
