It's been a tough week, but at least I'm feeling better now. I worked 3 days and now have to catch up the house. Did most of the grocery shopping, got my hair cut and still have to bake for the week. Think we are going to have friends over for dinner tonight.
Rob called while I was out, Jim got to talk to Shannon, so I called back and talked to her. Asked her if she wanted to come see Nana and Papa and she said "YES" in a very excited voice. So we will go out next weekend after my cooking class and get her for the week. I'm on vacation and can't think of a better way to spend it. She is so funny on the phone--she's playing with Cookie Monster today.
We have friends who have lived in their RV for the last 4 or 5 years now...they summer here where the family is and winter in the south, well they are home to stay, sort of. They've rented an apartment and are getting rid of the RV, but will still go south in the winter. They decided that the repairs on the RV aren't worth the cost, it would be cheaper to rent a place down there for the few months of the winter they want to be gone. It'll be great having them here but will miss camping with them.
Spring is coming. I planted seeds on the window sill in my kitchen....herbs like parsley, chives, basil, and a couple others. I love fresh herbs and they are starting to sprout. Think I'm gonna do a couple tomato plants to this year. I love fresh tomatoes. I don't have the time or space for a real garden but will do a couple things in pots. There are green shoots coming up in my flower beds....and the lilac bushes have small buds started. Of course this is the north country and we can get snow into May, but at least it's slowly warming up and the snow is melting...
Have a great weekend everyone.

Hi Karen,
So sorry you have been ill - pneumonia really grabs hold of a person. How great that Shannon will be spending the week with you. Take it easy though, ok?
Sorry to hear about your friends not RVing any more. Our plan is to full time for a couple of years and then see what else God has planned for us.
Feel better soon my friend.
Hugs,
Sue
