Well I've been absent....Hope everyone is having a Good New Year so far. Here's a couple pictures from Christmas of Shannon. Finally got them off Jim's camera. I've been busy settling into a new job--same department just a different area. I've also been playing with doctors about my "good" knee. Finally got one of them to order an MRI, I hate it when they think they know your body better than you do. The PA was convinced that the pain was just arthritis pain and my weight and I kept telling him it was totally different than my right knee (which had arthritis and now has a knee replacement in it) but he wouldn't listen, so called got into the doc and he ordered an MRI cause at that point I could barely walk on it. I have a torn (badly) medial meniscus and saw the orthopedic surgeon 3 days later and am now having surgery on the 21st. He said there's nothing left to repair, it's that badly damaged. It's only day surgery and I should only be out of work for about a week.
My mother in law is keeping us busy, but that's nothing new and will be a problem for the rest of her life or until she gets put into a nursing home. I hate to say it but that day is coming, sooner rather than later.
I've neglected my blog, military moms and other parts of my life because of everyone's appointments, including my own. Hopefully after this surgery I can get back to a "normal" pace and keep up.
HUGS to all,

Not sure how I missed this post. I was just thinking that it had been a while since I had a read a post of yours and lo and behold here is one I didn't even see.
You have been missed.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers for your knee surgery. My mom had her knee surgery about 7 years ago.
Please keep us updated when you can.
Your granddaughter is such a cutiepie. I'll keep you in my prayers for your knee surgery. I pray that all goes well for you.
