It's Monday and I'm home alone. What a busy week it was last week. I had 2 days to get everything under control for the girl who replaced me at my desk. That was the easy part. Had to make sure we had everything for groceries for a week, Jim is horrible in the grocery store, he buys too much. On Wednesday I had day surgery on my "good" knee. I'm recuperating, it's stiff and a little sore but all in all doing ok. I hate having surgery, I don't respond well to anesthesia, I remember getting on the table and then I wake up with getting a respiratory treatment. I know a lot of the girls in the OR cause they used to work with me on the floors when I was a nurse so they make it easy for me to get in and get out, they know I know what to look for and let me out of there as soon as they can (have to eat, drink and pee and I can leave) I lived on pain pills for a couple days but have stretched them out now to just one in the morning and one at bedtime. It was nice to sit and watch the TV with all the inauguration stuff going on, Jim had taped it on Tuesday and I caught up while I was sitting here doing nothing. What a moment in history. I always watch the inaugurations, but never thought I'd see the day when so many people were part of it also.
I need to sit at my computer today and get some MM accounts ok'd or deleted (the spam ones) and catch my check book up. I'm almost out of reading material again. Thought I had stocked up from the library but not enough. May be Jim will take me tomorrow evening.
Just wanted to say HI and I'm doing OK
HUGS to all

I am so glad to hear that surgery went well and that you are home recuperating. Hoping your recovery is a quick one and that you are back up and at 'em in no time!
Hi Karen. It was good to hear from you, as always. Glad everything is going well.
