Well Spring has finally arrived here in the northeast. It's been so warm that we've had windows open all day for a week now, and even sleeping with one open at night. Jim says we have to cause my hot flashes are so bad!!! My lilies are popping up through the ground, the early spring flowers are blooming and so pretty, even my wild rose bush and lilacs are getting green.
Jim left today for the NASCAR races in Talladega. Alabama. He'll be gone till next week. He took the camper and is following another couple. Sue's a little upset that I'm not going along but couldn't get the time off. They'll have a great time anyways. I spent my spare time for the last 2 weeks getting him ready and the camper cleaned and packed for his trip. Yesterday I cooked, sent them with mac n cheese and soaked chicken and brownies. Sue bought the rest of the meals and they'll split the cooking.
I'm taking a long weekend and going out to Boston on Thursday to pickup Shannon for the weekend. I can't wait to see her, she's jabbering up a storm, even makes a short sentence. Rob says she's tall--comes up to his hip already and he's 6 ft tall. I went out tonight and bought her a race car T shirt. Couldn't find Papa's driver so settled for the Disney Pixar Cars T shirt. Gonna have pictures done as a surprise for Jim for Father's Day. I was even nice and called the ex so he'd know his grand daughter was in town in case he wanted to see her again.
Work is still busy but the new computer system is getting better. Still has a few problems but we are getting there FINALLY.
