It's Tuesday and even though she gave this Nana a helluva infection, I miss her terribly. On Sunday morning I met the kids about 1/2 way, we did a little shopping, I bought 1 outfit and Great Gramma Betty bought an outfit and an Elmo doll. She loves "Melmo". We kissed and hugged and I came home, by the time I got here, I was sooo sick. Fever of 102 and felt like crap. I dozed on the couch covered with a heavy afghan and then went up and put my sweats on. I was in bed by 7pm and never woke up till the alarm went off at 5:30am. I went to work though I probably should have stayed home, but we are short again and it was Monday, our normally busiest day. The house is sooo quiet, without her running around and jabbering constantly, even Jim isn't here to take up the slack.

I bought her a new bike too, she had a great time in the driveway with it. It stays here though as she already has one at home, that one of the other grandma's bought. The cats are loving the fact she's gone, they don't do well with little ones--they hide. But RC is almost 12 and Maggie May is about 6. RC has been around babies but Maggie never has.

Jim will be home later tonight..he'll be all about the race and I'll be all about Shannon. She reminds me so much of her daddy when he was that age, constant motion and constant talk. Guess the "Mother's Curse" works !!! Even some of my friends said the same thing.

As always my prayers are with our military.

Shannon is adorable - good thing, huh? Hope you are feeling completely better by now. I love your posts.
