Jim and I will leave on Wednesday with the camper headed for Darlington, SC. I've always wanted to go to Darlington raceway --"The Lady in Black" they call her. It's a short track and always full of crashes and great racing. I can't wait. My first night race also. After a long weekend there, we head to Myrtle Beach for a few days of ocean side camping. What could be better--warm weather, the sound of the ocean, and no work!!!!
I'm slowly getting over Shannon's cold, but came down with double pink eye last Friday. NOT FUN. So a trip to the doctors for some drops and they are much better, least the green gunk is gone, just dry and itchy and one eye is still red an slightly swollen.
Been a busy weekend, packing and grocery shopping. Just need to finish filling the fridge and put the clothes in and we'll be ready. Oh yea gotta get the key to my MIL so she can feed the cats while we are gone.
As always my thoughts and prayers are with our military.

Hope you and Jim are having a wonderful time. Enjoy that sun, and the beach, and the sound of waves coming in and going out. I think you probably REALLY needed this vacation.
