Well we are on vacation and it's my birthday. We started last weekend in Louden, NH at the NASCAR races, it's fun...the noise, the smells, friends.....We left there and came to Wells, Maine on Monday. We are here with 4 other couples and for the most part we are having FUN. The weather has been great..sunny and warm during the day but cool at night. We have had 1 couple, actually the guy through a temper tantrum the other day and he hasn't spoken to the rest of us since. That's ok too...if he wants to be like that he hcan..not letting him spoil my vacation. Three of the guys went to Hope Maine today about 2 hours away to do the guy thing with antique cars and fire trucks, while 3 of us girls went shopping....bought myself a new purse in Kennebunkport. Then we went and walked around Ogunquit. I've gotten my Christmas shopping started, found some cute outfits for Shannon and her angel ornament.
But Sunday is coming and we'll have to pack up and go home. I love vacations but hate going home...unpack the camper, do the wash, clean the house up from all the cat fur they shed.....and back to work.
The trees are starting to turn up here, not many but just enough to let you know that fall is coming. I love fall with the cool nights and warm days and pretty colors. But spring is my favorite season--everything blooming and fresh.
