Shannon left Sunday evening, we had a good week.  Spent a lot of time in the pool, on Saturday we went with Pat and Gail to the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake.  It's a great museum, I've been there several times but Jim and Shannon had never gone.  It's a place dedicated to the early years of living in the Adirondacks.  There are logging displays, early boats, vehicles, a one room schoolhouse, and more.  A lot of hands on things to do.  We ate lunch at the cafe there overlooking the lake, when finally left we drove into Long Lake to get ice cream at a stand I went to as a child when we camped up there---oh so yummy still!
Back to work on Monday, but I really needed at least one more day off to rest, she tires me out.  The Mosquitos are horrible this year, too much rain.  Part of the campground where they normally store campers is so flooded they have had to bring them up to higher ground which has made parking a challenge if you have more than 1 vehicle.  The river is high and current so strong that we can't swim there, they had to rescue a couple who tried tubing and then couldn't back to the beach.  Everyone is ok but Wayne lost his new hearing aids and glasses.
Guess that's all for now.
Hugs to all.
