Camping and Shannon

Jim and I drove to Rob's last Saturday to pick up Shannon for the week.  We've had mostly good weather, some rain.  Lots of swimming and she finally got brave enough to jump in and go underwater.  She was going under but wouldn't jump in and do it, she swims like a fish.  I bought her a new bike because she got an award for reading 115 books during the school year. She is so funny, she tattles on herself when she does something she isn't supposed to, has the adults here laughing, we've made s'mores she has virgin drinks while Gail and I have the adult version. Yesterday we had a  clam bake with steamed clams, lobsters, steak, shrimp, salads, potatoes---had to make her a hot dog!  Then I took her Bolton to see the fireworks.  I just love this time with her, it's so precious.  Tomorrow we are going to the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake, I haven't been there in years and Jim never has.  It's pretty cool, lots of exhibits and neat facts about the early days in the mountains.then on Sunday Kristine will meet us half way to get Shannon back.  Well pool time back later.
