Thought I should probably catch everyone up.  We have been doing so much camping.  Home till Thursday then back for almost 2 weeks then home for another week and back out till the Tuesday after Labor Day.  After that not sure what we will do as we are planning a day trip or maybe an overnight to the St Lawrence Seaway to Boldt Castle for a wine tasting and tour on my birthday then the following week we are going to Maine for a week.  We have had so much fun camping this year spending time with Pat and Gail and Chip and Bon.  We found a new place for dinner--a little hole of a place, used to be someone's summer cabin......OMG the food was fabulous,no liquor license but you can bring your own beer or wine and they will provide the glasses for you.  You have to have reservations, no walk ins and the place is always packed.

Most of you know that Lauren and I have had a few issues regarding my granddaughter Olive, well she's coming around.  She's actually sent me pictures recently and is back on facebook.  They are trying to potty train her.  I'm hopeful we can take her in the near future.

One of my favorite patients died a couple weeks ago, I went to the wake and stood in line for over an hour in 90+ degree heat, but was glad I had after I spoke with Jack her husband and her daughters.  Mary had a smile on her face no matter what even at the end.  She was a wonderful person.
That brings up that today is the 7th anniversary of my friend Julie's passing.  I miss her so much.  I look at her grand kids and think of how spoiled they would have been had she been here.  I know she's watching them from Heaven.

I'm getting old--I have my first great neice -- my brothers son had a baby girl last week--Kaydence Marie, she has my middle name.  It's hard to believe I have nephews old enough to have kids!!!

My stepson from my first marriage got married Saturday, too bad his father didn't care enough to let anyone know where he was so he could have known.  Shane and I still talk and of course his mom and I are friends also.

My friend Warren's son graduated in June, we went to his party a couple weeks ago and then he left for the Marines.  He's currently at Parris Island training.  I'm so proud of Jake--he's a great kid.  He'll do well in the military.

HUGS to all.  Enjoy the rest of the summer.

Hi Karen,
Back to the pleasure of visiting blogs and so glad to be reading that you have a little more contact with what's going on with Olive.
It's so hard to believe that Julie has been gone for 7 years. Prayers continue for all who love and miss her. She must have been an awesome lady.
When I read about your camping, and think about all the years we spent camping, it makes me want to buy another camper....just a small one we can pull with Ron's F150. Something we can use to go on weekend trips with Kasey...or in WNY with Veronica.
Enjoy, enjoy,enjoy, my friend.
Hugs and blessings to you and Jim,
Sue
