I start my new position on Monday.  Friday they had a party for me at work--lots of food, some laughs and of course some tears.  My director resigned last week so the department is in turmoil.  Should prove to be interesting to see the changes that the VP wants to make, I hope he can accomplish them.  It was a bittersweet day, I have lots of good times and great co-workers. There were some bad ones but the good ones outnumbered the bad ones.  I'm excited to change my focus and I'm getting lots of Welcome's already from my new co-workers.  Some of them I have already worked with as they left Patient Access to work in the Cancer Center.  
I got this really neat basket of flowers from them.  One side is white carnations shaped to look like a dog and the other side is the pretty.  I'll have to take a picture and post it. 
They are honoring my September vacation -- Thank God, I can't wait to go to Maine for the week.
