ALMOST ready for camping season !!! The camper has been moved from the side yard to the driveway, we switched mattresses around as the one in the camper was better than the one on our bed so we swapped them. Really should buy a new one. Just gotta get out there and put back all the linens, new glasses I bought and swab down the counters, tables, and sinks. If the forecast doesn't call for rain next weekend we will go then because the campground has agreed to let us leave our campers there during the week in preparation for Memorial weekend. If it's gonna rain all weekend though I'll stay home and we'll go as planned on Memorial friday. I can hardly wait. We did do a campfire last Friday night and again last night in the neighbors backyard. FInally some nice weather to be able to do that. SIt around, chat, a few cocktails.....
Got a great card from Rob for Mother's Day. He's my sunshine every day. Have to laugh though, he called me and said it was gonna be late - he addressed it to himself and got it back in the mail so had to send it out again.
Not much else going on here. A few of my military mom friends have children who left for the sandbox and a couple that are still getting ready for that day. My prayers and HUGS are with you. I hate that roller coaster but will ride it again with you as I know it's slightly easier knowing there are friends with you.
Rain is predicted here starting today for the next 6 days at least. We don't need it. Some of our rivers here are just now getting below flood stage -- not as bad as those along the Mississippi but bad enough. Parts of Lake Champlain are still above flood stage by 8-9 feet so more rain will wreak more havoc. The Hudson River has finally gone down but still not enough to open parts of the canal system.
Have a good week everyone and HUGS to all

Karen,
Thanks for riding with us - having been in the shoes, you understand what it means to us all. So glad your camping season is back - makes up for the harshness of the past winter. LOL about Rob's card but it's great that he called to let you know. He appreciates his mom.
Again, thank you for the prayers and hugs - I can feel them and I am sure that Laurie can too.
Many hugs back to you and Jim,
Sue
