Well the weekend was busy--spent it cleaning the camper out and winterizing it.  We (Jim) stacked the firewood I won at the fund raiser for Mike.  Got the storms put on the couple of windows we haven't had replaced yet, cleaned up the yard.  Next weekend is the inside of the house.  I haven't dusted in forever--curtains need washing and some windows still to wash.  Summer clothes to pack away and winter clothes to get out.  I have to find my desk here at home--it's buried under LOTS of paper.  I hate that--normally so neat about my work space.  My work one is immaculate, need to do that here.  Just been piling it up instead of filing it.

Made applesauce too--love fresh apples and it's the season here.  The crockpot is back and being used--did a roast for dinner tonight.  Love fall and winter and using the crockpot.

The local cops were just at my door--we have this tree, it's dying but is on the neighbors property--he won't take it down.  A branch fell 2 weeks ago, he still hadn't removed it so we dragged it to his parking lot on Sunday.  Sometime today he moed it to in front of our house--they want it cut up so the DPW will remove it.  Told him we wouldn't because it didn't belong to us--explained the situation and he's going to talk to the neighbor.  Hope he has better luck than we do.  The guy is a lawyer, it's his office next door.

Karen,
Do you and Jim ever stop working? Always busy doing something - keeps you young, right?
Too bad about the neighbor and the tree. Whatever happened to love thy neighbor...has he never heard of this?
Hope the police had better luck. And after reading some of your previous posts, I think I am going to have Ron ship me back east for a few weekends next fall to go camping with you guys....I'll help buy and cook the food, ok?
Hugs to you and Jim,
Sue
