Had another interview today, went well. I'm more hopeful this time. Same department but under a different manager and more money. Using more of my skills and more of a challenge--have to learn more skills.
Rob's in Oregon on vacation, looks like he's having a great time. He deserves this. Been quite the year for him but he's handling things much better and being treated for the PTSD, finally.
Finally a break in the humidity here....had a wonderful weekend. Turned the AC off --gives my National Greed (Grid) bill a break!!! We spent Saturday across the street at Jenna's 7th birthday party. Sunday was the normal groceries, laundry, picking up, etc. Slightly more humid today but still tolerable. Can't believe the summer we are having, hasn't been like this since I was a kid. I can probably count on one hand, maybe 2 the number of days we haven't had the AC on this summer, last year it was on a total of 8 days.

Hoping to read some good news is coming out of that interview. Good luck my friend.
Nice that Rob was able to take his trip, that he is getting some help for the PTSD, and that things are working out well. Sure helps his mom sleep a bit better at night, I am sure. And, knowing you, also saying those prayers of thanksgiving.
Enjoy the rest of the summer with Jim - fall will be here (and there)
