I've been busy, as most of us are. Last weekend we went with Pat and Gail to Springfield, MA to a big RV show. Didn't really see anything that we wanted. Did get lots of information on campgrounds though. We then went to dinner at the Texas Roadhouse, one of our favorite places and we don't have one here.
On Sunday we had a houseful for the Daytona 500. So much fun. Had munchies and then did chili for dinner and brownies for dessert. What a great day it was.
Today I got a call from my son......he's doing ok but he and Kristine have broken up. I'm sad, I really like her but maybe it's for the best. There are other things going on but I won't make them public, just keep Rob in your prayers please. He needs strength and I know the POWER of PRAYER works. I spent 45 minutes in the parking lot cause I was grocery shopping talking to him. I hate not being able to make things better and easier for him...that mom thing..."kiss the boo boo and it'll be better" I'm so proud of the choices he is making though.
Jim is heading to Florida at the end of March for a week. He's going to Meghan's wedding so he can give her away. We've been back and forth about this issue with her dad not going , then he was and now he's not.....so Uncle Jim is going and he will do the honors. I wish I could be there too but can't get the time off since I gave it back so a co-worker (close friend also) could have the time for her brother's wedding the same day.
Another co-worker is headed to AZ on Tuesday to see her oldest son before he ships out to Afghanistan. Matt is a Marine and this is his first deployment....I've been there and it's not fun as a lot of my readers can attest to cause you too have been in those shoes, some more than once. Ann is doing ok so far but we will see. She has lots of support here so that will help.
Just wanted to catch up. Have a great weekend everyone.

We had an RV show in Little Rock last week. My sister begged me to go with her but I have been sick and didn't feel like it.
I am really getting the camping fever...bad! Occasionally I will see an RV on the highway and I'll wonder where they are going. I also think of Sue and wonder if it is her!
Anyway, I know you are ready for camping season also!

Hi Karen.
I'm so sorry to hear about Rob and Kristine - and I understand about not being able to kiss those boo boos anymore. He will be in my prayers - and Kristine and Shannon too of course. And you, Mom, too.
It's nice that Jim is giving Meghan away - he will be very proud. It's too bad you can't attend but nice that your co worker can attend her brother's wedding because you graciously gave the time to your friend for her brother's wedding.
No matter what, Karen, it always seems like God answers our prayers in ways we wouldn't have guessed. I do hope and pray that Rob will be blessed, no matter what happens in his life. Good choices are so important - this he obviously knows.
Hugs my friend,
Sue
