Empty house again. Jody left for Fl. on Saturday and we have no company. I miss her a lot, she's lots of fun, especially when she was trying to do her math homework and making faces, muttering to herself.....just glad I'm not the one back in school having to do algebra again.
Since I'm having my knee replaced in August, we aren't getting much camping in this summer but we are making plans for Labor Day weekend and possibly for another trip in September. In the meantime I'll gaze at the camper and wish it was somewhere besides the driveway.
The cats woke Jim up at 3am this morning--he couldn't figure out why RC was yowling--well he killed a mouse, he found it when we got up. RC delivered it him dead after his shower at 6am. I hate mice--usually the traps get them but this one was a little smarter.
Not much else happening here. The free concerts in the park started last Tuesday night, we will go tomorrow. They are fun, get to socialize with friends and neighbors and enjoy some free music.

Karen,

Good luck on the knee surgery! Wish you could go camping though. We have been home about 5 days total since May 30th. However, we are only 22 minutes from home and I come home just about every day to keep up with my online classes that I'm teaching.

Night time is my favorite when camping. It's been so quiet and peaceful.

Talk later,

Betsy

Karen,
Sorry - I've neglected blogs lately. But wanted to say hi and tell you that I am so sorry to hear about Jim's mom. Alzheimers is something I know about since my mom had early onset and had it for so many years.
Thinking of you and hoping that your surgery goes well - and that the recovery time is quick so you can get those camping trips in.
Hugs to you and Jim.
Sue
