Happy Birthday Rob

My baby is 27 today, seems like yesterday he was born. For those of you who don't know, he was adopted, it was a private adoption and I was in the nursery when he was delivered. I got to clean him up and weigh him and everything. It was a tough couple days cause the bio mom changed her mind but my pediatrician (grandfather type of a guy) went and talked to her and she let us have him. Her husband (not the father) didn't want him and that kinda decided his fate. We've been through a lot since then, the teen years, the Army, he celebrated his 21st birthday in Iraq. Now he's a daddy.....
I called him this morning on my way to work, he was getting ready to go home since he works the night shift. I miss having his birthday here but nothing I can do about that.
