The baking is done....I've done walnut fudge squares, peanut butter fudge, Viennese rounds, monster cookies, white chocolate bark,and chocolate covered cream fills. Today I made sausage balls for the Christmas luncheon at work. That was fun, I went in for a couple hours. We do a Secret Santa and the big boss had my name, she got me a beautiful ceramic pie plate with a mitt and a snowflake cookie cutter with sugar cookie mix inside it. I got my friend Lisa's name and found a beautiful glass globe with Angel inside that changes color when you turn it in on. She has an angel collection so it was perfect for her.
My friend Mary just stopped and brought me the blanket for Shannon's cradle. She made a matching one for Shannon that will fit her toddler bed upstairs. I can hardly wait for them to get here.
Off to the library to get some books, I'm out of reading material again and it's gonna storm again tomorrow--ice this time they say. I can't see over the snow banks in front of my house now.
Good news, the PA just called with the latest blood work results, my cholesterol is down and my thyroid medicine needs backing down, they over corrected the problem. Now if they could fix my "good" knee that is now a problem. I see them in January so we will see what they say then.
