More surgery, had a right carpal tunnel and right cubital tunnel repair in June, was supposed to back to work July 9th.  I’m still out!  Pain, numbness, no strength in hand....going to occupational therapy twice a week. Dr. Singh said the other day I need to look at retirement.  I have applied for social Security disability so we will what happens with that.  I had my every 3 month checkup with Dr. Stoutenburg yesterday, my alk phos is still elevated so doing a liver ultrasound next week.  I also have a tender, sore area under right breast on a rib so also doing a rib X-ray and bone scan—looking for bone metastasis.  That scares me.  I honestly hadn’t given metastasis a thought till he said something.  If it is I’m done working!  That’s more chemo, radiation and I won’t even try to go back to work.  I haven’t told anyone yet......what do you say?  I need the test results first.
