So a lot has happened since I last wrote here.  Kim doesn't need treatment she staged out very low and is on 5 years of HRT.  That's good news, me not so much.  Surgery was May 22, we knew about the left side, pathology came back with a small tumor in the right side also.  Good thing I opted for bilateral mastectomy with the reconstruction. I've now had 2 rounds of chemo had a reaction to the first one and ended up in the hospital for 4 days, 2nd one is going much better. The steroids though make my moods all over the place, poor Jim, some days he can't do or say anything right! He's been great though throughout this roller coaster ride! I had genetic testing done, we know it's not inherited.      I have 2 more rounds of chemo then final surgery for the implants then go on 5 years of the HRT.
I've done a lot of reading some coloring but I have limitations on my arms so can't do much more, my brain doesn't always absorb what I read....chemo brain they call it! I have numbness and tingling in some of my fingers so I type with two fingers.
My support system is amazing!!!! From my co workers, my camping buddies, my neighbor, my cousin who sends me a postcard now and with words of encouragement, the military moms who have reached out to me, my high school alumni,   It brings me to tears! When I'm having a bad day someone always reaches out just to say hi, it's all I need to keep going!
