Well summer is over,we had a few snow flurries yesterday.....YUK!!!  We went to camp on May 2nd and came home Columbus Day.  I could do that full time!  We had a good summer tubing down the river, swimming, had Shannon for a week the end of July then Jim's sister Jody was here for 10 days in August and then we got Shannon again for a long weekend.  Some of the places we visited were The Wild Center, went there twice and had a great time exploring the outdoors and the creatures that live in the Adirondacks.

We also went to Boldt Castle in the Thousand Islands when Jody was up, we've been there 4 times now and it's fun to see the changes and the rooms that are finished, the first time we went there was 1 room done on the first floor, now that entire first floor is done and working on the 2nd floor.  It's a beautiful castle.

We made new friends this summer and had a blast most of the time, of course there was some drama with workers and I lost what I thought was a good friend over some of it and thats too bad since we live across the street from each other at home.  We had lots of campfires, great eating, cocktails and laughter.  Sammy enjoys being at camp and playing with the other dogs that are there.  So even though we worked our regular jobs it was fun to come back to camp at night and relax.

Now for winter, the camper is put to bed for the winter and I'm finding the house slowly.  Today it was the  back computer room.  Shredded 3 boxes of Jim's moms files and a few of my own.  I can almost fine the floor and the desk.  A few more hours here and it'll be done, then onto the other rooms.  We'd like to sell the house in the spring and retire and camp all summer and go south in the winter.  We'll see if it's meant to be this year or not.
