The house is quiet, still have to catch up on laundry though. Everyone, including Jim left on Friday. Jody and the gang made it home last night, Jim went to Charlotte to the NASCAR All Star race. He's flying home as I write. I cleaned out the camper and started loading it for next weekend. Have to do some grocery shopping and pack clothes and we will be ready for our first official outing with the new camper.
We had fun with everyone here. On Mother's Day we brought Jim's mom for the day and had a BBQ with her 2 sister in laws - Aunt Sandy and Aunt Ruth, plus 3 out of the 4 cousins - Susan, Eddie, and Colleen. It was fun to catch up on everyone.
On Wednesday we packed up 2 cars and took a day trip to Maine. We shopped and ate, I stuck my feet in the water at York Beach. COLD but slightly warmer than October. It was a foggy day up there but we still showed them a lot of the sites.
They complain they don't have a good ice cream store down in Florida so we hit some of the favs here. Rob and Deb's soft ice cream place got a lot of our business. They do the traditional chocolate and vanilla and then have 2-3 different flavors that change every couple days. Coconut, Blueberry, Pistachio, Peanutbutter, Raspberry, Orange Cream, etc. YUMMY. For hard ice cream there is nothing better than the local Stewarts - locally made, so we had a couple half gallons and did make your own sundaes here.
Back to work tomorrow. Vacation has ended. Guess I need to win the lottery!!!

Karen,
WOW! You really pack a lot of activities into a week or so - how nice that family fun is still in style. Of the ice cream places you visited, was one of them the ice cream place where you used to work? I remember those weekend nights in mms chat when you told us about how busy you were....and how tired you were sometimes on those really hot days when you worked at the ice cream place.
Ahhhh, great memories. Friendship sure has a lot of them, doesn't it?
Enjoy a wonderful first weekend of camping in your new trailer. It's a dandy.
Hugs to you and Jim.
