I just saw one of the best pictures a military family can have--dad home from the sand with his little boy with the biggest smile on his face by his side. My friend Sue has her son in law home from the sand one more time. I would "steal" it to share cause it is a great picture but you can see his last name on his uniform and for safety/security reasons I won't "borrow" it and post it.
As a military family you adjust to the roller coaster ride of deployments and assignments but it's never easy, especially when there are children involved. I'm just so happy they are reunited again.
One more Army unit home safe and sound on US Soil again. My prayers remain with all our troops. I can't wait till they are ALL home.

Karen,
Thank you so much for the wonderful post and for all of the prayers you and Jim have spoken for our family. It means so much to us. We ARE so grateful for Stephen's safe return.
Very soon, Laurie's deployment will begin - but we will trust her to the One who has always brought Stephen home safely.
Thanks again for all you have done to help us through, Karen. It means so much to us all.
Hugs,
Sue
