NASCAR SEASON has started............it's been a LONG 3 months since the last race. The Daytona 500 is tomorrow, we've watched the truck race Friday night, the Nationwide race this afternoon and tomorrow the official start of the season with the Sprint cup race. GO CARL!!!!!!! Having a small Daytona party here--invited friends to watch the race and eat....have tater skins, chips, Jim's triscuit bites (triscuit, pepperoni, cheese and lemon pepper sprinkled and then baked) and goulash for supper with texas toast. Didn't get around to the Mocha Chocolate cake for Valentine's Day but it's in the fridge now for tomorrow.
WOW live in upstate NY--don't like the weather wait it'll change--almost 50 yesterday and today it's barely making 20 !!!! Windy and COLD.....will spring ever get here?
Shannon is in Florida with her great grandparents -- seeing Disney for the first time. Can't wait to hear all about it.
My mother in law has a birthday tomorrow, we are going out to dinner tonight. Really isn't anything to get her for a gift so dinner it is.......
My prayers are with all our service men and women and their families.

Sounds like great goodies for tomorrow's race! May the best man or woman win. Stephen and Laurie love to watch Nascar - I imagine once a fan, always a fan. Enjoy the season.
And by season, I don't mean the weather. :) Sounds like your weather there is rather fickle. I know that Buffalo is supposed to get hit again - this I don't miss.
Dinner out is always a great gift! And Shannon is going to have some great stories to tell you when she gets back.
Stay warm my friend - remember that spring is just a month away. Well, at least on the calendar, anyways.

Karen, wondering what your opinion on this new drafting system is. So far, I have not cared for the groups of 2 all over the the track. Maybe it will get better, just a change a guess.
