It's been an interesting week so far. Jim's aunt Sandy went to have a cardiac cath done Monday--they kept her, she is having bypass surgery on Friday. I talked to her today, she said I feel fine, I don't think I really need this. I said yes you do or you'll end up 6 foot under before you know it. My mother in law is down there staying with Sandy's daughter. Heart disease runs in Jim's family--both of Sandy's brothers (one was Jim's dad) died young of heart attacks, Jim's younger brother had bypass surgery before his 35th birthday. Need less to say we keep a good eye on Jim and his heart. Please keep Sandy in your prayers.
What wonderful weather this week--windows are open, it's been high 50's here during the day. I love it and so do my kitties. Maggie the black one is in the window as soon as it opens in the morning. RC is getting old and it's hard for him to get up there so we are opening the bedroom window cause it's only about a foot off the floor and he can get into that one.
My roses have green on them and the lilacs are starting to show signs of green also. Spring is here...I think...this is the Northeast and the weather can change, we've had snow into May before. 28 years ago we had snow the first weekend of May, I remember this cause my friend got married that weekend and I got married (the first time) the following weekend.
Baby shower time--T. (my late friend Julie's daughter) is due in 2 weeks. We are having a shower at work on Friday for her. I love baby shopping. I got her a baby book--that's what I bought for her son so had to do the same for the daughter. I owe her a Christmas ornament though--they aren't out yet. I promised Julie when she died that I would get Ryan one every year and I've kept that promise so will do the same for this baby.
It was so nice last night we went for ice cream after dinner. Our favorite shop is open for the season. They do great flavors in soft serve.
ENJOY the evening.

HI Karen,
Sorry I've been missing lately. It sure sounds like you've been busier than me - hope your weather stays nice. We are hoping ours stays sunny too. RV shopping is a lot easier when it's warm - or at least sunny.
Hugs,
Sue
