What a busy week! I left Saturday late morning after filling my car with some of their stuff from the storage place, Arrived early afternoon so Rob and I took Shannon to the beach about 2 blocks from their place. She loves the water, glad Nana was wearing shorts...When Kristine got out of work, they went shopping while I babysat--Shannon was napping. Sunday morning we were up and on the road by 9:30am, she has no qualms about leaving mom and dad behind. Had a great trip, she jabbered most of the way home.

Papa was so HAPPY to see her....we played ate dinner, took a bath and then bed. Her first night in a Big Girl Bed. She still has a crib at home but since Nana didn't see the sense in buying a new one at her age and couldn't find a used one, we bought a toddler bed. She did pretty well in it. Jim found her Monday morning sleeping on the floor by the door but she woke up and got back into the bed.

We have been visiting--to the hospital to see Nana's friends, to Great Gramma Betty's, to Papa's work and the neighbors. We love riding out trike in the driveway and picking flowers (the clover growing in the grass).

She's always on the move but I wouldn't trade this time with her for anything.

Probably won't be here this week till she leaves, but know my prayers are with our military always.
