We just got home yesterday from 3 weeks of camping......loved it.  Home for about 10 days then gone again for 3 weeks.  Renewed friendships with fellow campers, drank some wine, sat by campfires, it's the life!!!!!!
Work sucks right now, we are getting ready to go to EMR's (electronic medical records) the 17th of June and between being down a scheduler because Linda retired Dec 31st and the 2 replacements since then quit and having to go to training classes so most days for 2 weeks now we've worked with only 2 instead of 4 schedulers.......We have hired a new girl but no sense training her on the system we use now as the new one starts soon so she's doing phone calls and watching...... Today was especially bad, 3 glasses of wine later, here I sit typing on my blog!  We've lost a couple pretty special patients, Maud was a favorite, she was a school teacher in her day, but was hard of hearing and dementia was setting in but oh she made us laugh with her wit.  I've had 3 vacations denied because of the new EMR's and am now so tired and mentally fatigued that I issued a promise to the manager, if I get denied my July vacation she will have my resignation.  I need to see my Shannon, she's a spitfire and makes life worth living, I miss her so much.
She wants to come camping and we want to see her.  I think Jim and I both need that little girl that brings so much joy and laughter into our lives.
