Has anyone read books by Karen Kingsbury? WOW what a wonderful writer. She writes fiction, but set in modern times, like the series I just finished is about 911. They are about trusting and believing in GOD. There are quite a few books that are stand alones but then she has about 6 sets that are series, some with only 3 books to the set, some with 6. I picked one up at the library a few weeks ago and couldn't put it down so then went back got some more then reserved most of the others (interlibrary loans since my library didn't have them all). I can't remember reading anyone who was so captivating and well written. I have shed a few tears reading them because even though they are fiction, she draws you in and you become part of the story.
She has a website http://www.karenkingsbury.com/ I would recommend her books to anyone, but especially to someone who is struggling with their faith.

Just had to share.

I LOVE her books! Started reading them last winter.

I started out by reading her Firstborn series. Then the Sunrise series. They are set in a town(Bloomington, Indiana) about an hour from where I live.
Have also read the 911 series and the Lost Love series.

They are all so great. Wanting to start a new series but waiting until school is out for the summer.

I also love Beverly Lewis and Wanda Brunstetter. Especially their Amish books. Set in current day but follow the lives of the Amish within the communities.
